Back Into Metal Detecting

Hi Ed, here prior to moving out to CA alittle over ten years ago from the Philadelphia, PA area I really enjoyed metal detecting however, once I got out here I haven't detected and want to start again. I have a Fisher CZ 7 metal detector that is 10 or so years old is it still worth while to hunt with or is there newer technology that I would benefit from ? I'm located in Corona and look forward to making it to the first club meeting as I am not really familar with area's to go hunting and would like to meet other detectors.

Thanks

Ed

Welcome aboard Ed! Come to the meeting and make yourself at home. Lots of good folks and fun. Did you find any good OLD stuff back in PA? Hope to see you at the meeting.
