We just received our last delivery of prizes for the upcoming annual picnic/club hunts scheduled for May 16th, including our second detector to be given away, amounting to about $2,000 in value.  We have a gold pin (donated by Jim Fuller) and a 2.1g gold nugget as well.  Photos of all of these items have been placed on our Pictures page so you can take a look at some of the great stuff to be given away.  As indicated on our Main page, we also have a bunch of silver coins to give away in addition to silver dimes that you'll have to find yourself in the silver hunt.  You'll be able to see these nice coins at the picnic.  Please be sure to contact Annual Picnic/Club Hunt Chair Gabe Hanna at (909) 877-2280 to sign up for the silver hunt or token hunt at the lower rate (and to ensure we buy enough silver coins for all of the hunters in the first hunt), and to sign up for the potluck.

Other recent website updates include the list of members that have successfully uploaded photos to the Find Blog as part of our Website $2 Challenge.  Six members (so far) are eligible for $2 worth of free Ways & Means Raffle tickets at our next meeting.  As you will see in our upcoming newsletter, this Challenge will be open until just before the June meeting, so you have time to upload a photo and join the list of winners.  I look forward to seeing a bunch more great photos of your amazing finds!
